The Foldable Duffle Bag is a packable travel bag for travellers who shop abroad, buy more than they planned to bring home, and need a second bag that takes up no room until it is needed. Empty, it folds down flat enough to live in a suitcase pocket; opened out, it becomes a full-size duffle.

Two details decide whether a foldable duffle survives a real trip: the zip tape and the point where the handles meet the body. Both are reinforced here, with bar-tacked anchors and a double-layered base panel. The opening runs the full length of the bag so it can be packed properly rather than stuffed, and the shoulder strap is removable when the bag travels checked in.
