The design brief was simple: build it around the way the bag is actually used. The Waterproof Outdoor Travel Backpack is an outdoor pack for hikers, campers and outdoor travellers. It measures 30x16x47 cm and weighs 900 g, and the Leather film shell has been chosen because it keeps its strength when wet, folds without cracking in the cold and cleans up after a muddy weekend.

A pack lives or dies on its carry system. This one uses a padded, ventilated back panel, adjustable load lifters, a sternum strap and a shaped hip belt, plus compression webbing so nothing swings when the trail turns rough.

It is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. The Leather film shell and coated zips shed rain and spray; for sustained heavy rain we recommend adding a rain cover, which can be produced in your colours.

How much weight can it comfortably carry?

A well-fitted pack transfers most of the load to the hips. This model carries day-trip loads comfortably, and for heavier expedition loads we would recommend a frame sheet upgrade, which we can add during production.
